This was one of those random myspace finds, I was browsing bulletins last night trying to find a friend’s show, but ran across this bulletin and said to myself, sh1t this looks dope, no cover, cheap booze, hot models, and breakdancing?? Needless to say it didn’t take much armtwisting. And after trekking to the westside for an art show that ended up already over, I hit the highway and back to Universal City Walk for a taste of what these kats had to offer.

The venue made me wish my camera had freaking smell-o-vision, ranking of cedarwood outside and baked cinnamon apples inside, but fortunately I still was able to put my cam to good use, with some frozen stills of the breakers in action, a few of the gals on the catwalk, and of course my own myspace mirror shot for kicks. Alternative Entertainment puts on a helluva show mixing some kickass LA bands with breakers and models, a nice mix for a hungry pallatte like mine. The Bangkok Five rocked the stage thru the end of the night, full of energy and hopping around the splintered floor, keeping the tight jeaned girls shaking what they are blessed with, and keeping the rest of us thirsty for more. I heard thru the grapevine that AE has something in the works at this joint in the summer, can’t wait to see more from this group.

The night was truly one of those Hollywood’s finest, the only thing that would have made it better was a handjob and a parking ticket at the same time. In other words, a damn good show all around.
