Coverage/Flicks:Shik

This afternoon in a slow minute at the office, I jumped on LA Weekly to see if anything was happening tonight. This of course was a swell f1nd. I had to run down and check out the art show and auction, donate my few bones for Tamashiro, and suckle down on some dank truffles and thai chicken skewers. Or bigaahk! as one guy called them. The transport gallery was down in the warehouse district tucked behind some trucker yards and a salted fish factory. A bitter monotone monster of a security guard sat in the middle of the road directing latecomers to the parking lot around the side. Rising up the steps into the gallery brushing elbows with downtown's art junkies, I first had to wet the pallate and make a round before getting to work snapping and mingling. I wasn't feeling the norm social bee tonight, maybe it was past eleven and the seven I chugged on the way brought me down. So why's don't I just skip this jazz and tell you the story in pictures from here out.

werd. get well Keith! tons of artists and fans and friends alike are here to support!
